Venison Boerewors

Boerewors is a Traditional spiced South African Farmers Sausage. A subtle blend of herbs and spices which when added to coarsely minced venison, pork and lamb give our Venison Boerewors the best South African taste around. Boerewors is Great for a BRAAI (BBQ) as we know it here in the UK.  Our traditional recipe goes back many years and our customers LOVE the product.

Venison Boerewors is naturally low in fat, high in protein and Delicious. It has a denser texture than beef boerewors and a subtle meaty flavour that derives from the wild grasses, leaves and herbs that make the UK so green.

Venison is the greatest wild meat the UK has to offer. We have six species of deer. Red, Sika, Fallow, Roe, Chinese Water Deer and Muntjac. The majority of our venison comes from ethically managed herds of Fallow deer that roam these lush landscapes. All our Venison are fully traceable back to the source.

Boerewors is very versatile – you can either BRAAI (BBQ) it, grill it or fry it. It is also delicious on a roll with added onions, ketchup and mustard. Don’t pierce your Boerewors before or during cooking and cook it over a low to medium heat to retain as much moisture as possible.

Our Packs are 500g (approx.) frozen packs, vacuum packaged and sent by next day courier. It can be picked up by prior arrangement. 

For obvious reasons Boerewors is non-returnable.
